The Camino of Maryland is a 14-day pilgrimage that takes you on an unforgettable journey from Point Lookout, MD to the Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Emmitsburg, MD. This 230-mile trek takes you through the beautiful landscapes of Maryland, the nation’s capital, and exploring how Maryland's unique relationship with all faith traditions, particularly the Catholic faith tradition and education has come to help shape Maryland's culture. Our mission is to not only provide a unique experience of physical and spiritual growth, but to also foster an environment of friendship, understanding, and appreciation of the beauty that surrounds us.
A Camino is an opportunity to discover something important about what lives deep inside ourselves. While there are other pilgrims, you walk alone and journey with others. Why you walk, is your personal response to the question: "Do You Camino"? We journey together, to encourage each other, to share the burdens, the joy, and the laughter. Come journey with us! We would enjoy the gift of you!
In keeping with the 1500-year Catholic Camino traditions and spirit, If so moved, daily Mass, confession, and rosary will be available for pilgrims as they make their Camino.
